5 Years...and Eternity to Go!!

Yesterday Chris and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. It is crazy to think it has already been 5 years. Chris took the day off of work and I told him that I had the afternoon planned. We started our day out by attending a session at the temple. That was such an awesome way to start our day out together. The funniest part, we got there and got in the session at about he same time that we were sealed 5 years ago! Oh the memories! After that, we had to go back home and pick up our little side kick for the day. Seeing that I am still nursing and Natali refuses a bottle, she got to tag along with us. Which was fine cause she pretty much slept the whole time. I had planned that we would do 5 different things and all of them would have something to do with the number 5. Once we got to dinner I suprised Chris with my anniversary gift for him. I had made him a photo book that celebrated us and the last 5 years. We ended the night by coming back home, and eating nachos and watching the Mirror has 2 Faces, (both thing we ate and watched on our wedding night.) It was a perfect day. Here are just some blast from the bast wedding pictures I thought you all might enjoy seeing.

Traci and the shoes...

Add Image
So for anyone who knows me, the last thing I would do is teach my daughter to be a girly girl. Well one of my dads friends from work , gave us a bunch of little girl stuff. Mainly abunch of older little girl clothes but in this batch was a pair of those dress up high hills. Once I saw them I knew Traci would love them, I didn't think she would be able to walk in them quite yet, but I reguardless she would love them. She is in this phase of putting all of our shoes on, for some reason she loves to try and wear her brothers sandals, she falls everytime she puts them on so in my mind I was thinking well she can barely walk in her brothers shoes let alone these little hills! Boy was I WRONG!!!!

The minute she put the shoes on she was just cruzing the living room like she was born to wear them!! As you will be able to see from the pictures, she had to get all dressed up to wear them, and didn't want to wear anything else. It was even bed time and she still couldn't give them up!! Oh and I better not leave out her purse either!

I LOVE YOU TRACI!!!

New Smile...

Well I seem to keep forgetting to post the fun pictures from our last trip to Malad. I promise to get them up by the end of the week.
But I did want to just say something that I am excited about that is happening. Well I am excited I am pretty sure Chris is getting scared. If you any of you know my husband, one of the things you might have taken notice to is that he never has an open teething showing smile. He also covers his mouth when he really starts to laughing. Well ever since I have meet my husband this is how he has always been. After we were married I asked him why he does it. Well he hates his teeth. Its not that they are bad, they just are crocked and stuff and well he just doesn't want people to see. I have told him for a while that I was going to put him in braces so he can feel comfortable with himself. Come to find out when he was younger they had started the process of fixing his teeth, and when it came down to getting the braces put on his parents backed out and said "Your teeth are fine, its not like you are having problems. So we are just going to leave them" Ya they pretty much just didn't want to fork out the money for it! That just doesn't sit well with me. Having gone through 41/2 years of having to wear braces, I just can't see why his parents just didn't do it.
Well I finally made Chris call and get an appointment scheduled for him to see an orthodontist. Its sad when the Dr. even said that his parents did the biggest disserves to him by not putting him in braces. So now we get to fix it and fork out the money. He is worth every penny of it. So I am excited that we are starting this process for him. He is a little scared seeing that he has to do an expander for 6 months first, which is REALLY going to suck, and then he will get the braces put on. But atleast he will be done with it all in about a year and half!! I looked at him and said, "Hey what a better anniversary gift then to say your wife is getting you a new smile!" (our 5 year is next thursday!!)
I will keep you up dated on how things go. Can't wait for the whining to begin! My husband I swear is the biggest panzy ever!!! He gets a cold and the world stops!! I can't wait to see what how he will be when his whole mouth is completly hurting!!!!
