Has it really been a year....

So here I am sitting thinking i really need to do better on my blog, and went and read a post from one of my friends and saw that the last post I did was last year!!! How I have I let time get by! I would love to say I will do a brief update and show what we have been up to with some pictures but that is the most ironic part. My husband just recently, but not on purpose whipped my computer clean of EVERYTHING! Now when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING! He let me know that I had just over 160 gigabits of PICTURES alone! I lost 2 years worth of pictures! Don't know where they went and there is know way of getting them back. The only way to see things in pictures is going to Facebook and seeing it there. SO For now just a little summary will have to do...
In the past year we have moved in to a house, have a 1st grader almost done with school, one kid in Preschool and 2 at home with mom full time wishing they could be in school! I have kept myself busy with 4 kids that keep me on my toes at all times, have a fun time expanding my photography business and gaining new clients all the time, and teach Zumba everyday of the week! I have made some amazing relationships and meet some great people with Zumba. In February, I was able to attend the Zumba Instructors conference in LA! It was so much fun and I spent 3 days of doing Zumba from the time the sun was up till after the sun went down! ;)
Chris started a new job last summer and is now a correctional officer at the Private Prison and really enjoys his job! It truly makes a difference when your husband actually likes going to work!
It is baseball season in our house now and the girls and i are prepping to be great cheerleaders for Neilsen this season. He is in the Rookie league which is "coach pitch" Can't believe he is grown up so fast.
I want to do better with keeping the blogger world connected with our family so this is my goal, to at least do one weekly post ( if I am feeling like an overachiever then there might be more) baby steps right.
Things are about to get interesting in the Glascock house and I can't wait to share why soon

Needing a Change

So for the longest time in the back of my head I have thought about cutting my hair again! I know it really hasn't been a while since the last time I cut it, but I needed something to pull me out of this funk I have been in lately I thought maybe a new hair do would do it. So I just waited....
I kept looking at hairstyles but the thought just kept coming into my head was there was no way you could pull this off. You see there is still this part of me that when I look in the mirror I still don't see the "smaller" me. I see what I have always been and doing something really drastic to my hair was really scary for me. See in the past whenever I decide to really chop off my hair, I always do it, then that first look in the mirror when it is done, I cry! Every time!! LOL
So for mother's day I told my husband that I wanted to get my hair cut. He was so sweet and said I could, but then followed with..."Please tell me know the day you go so I know when to come home with flowers so help ease the pain of the hair cut!" About a week ago I did it! I took the picture of the hair style I feel in love with to my cousin....asked her first if she thought I could pull it off. And after her convincing me that of course I could, she started chopping. Here is my before look....

AFTER!!

I LOVE MY HAIR! I have never ever gone this short, but I am so glad I did and am loving it every day. This weekend I also experimented wearing it a little differently and I still love it. I am so glad I did it and yes, I do think it is helping pull me out of this funk I seemed to have found myself in. :)

Zumba Mommy!!!

On Friday I got the opportunity to spend the whole day in Twin Falls getting my Zumba licence. That is right, this mommy is an official Zumba Instructor. I have been teaching "unofficially" for almost a year now to a wonderful group of ladies at church on Saturday mornings. I have such a love for Zumba that I am so grateful to take this love of teaching to new heights. I can't wait to spread my Zumba love to more people.
This is me the AMAZING Kass Martin. She was my instructor that day and she was so fun, great. I loved learning from her.

Look who turned 3...

I still can't believe my little Natali Ann is 3 years old! She is growing up so fast I just love her to pieces. What does Natali love, the color purple, princess, dancing with mommy and singing songs in the car. Here are pictures from how we celebrated her day.
This is Nat getting ready to head out on her one on one date with Mommy. I told her we were going to her birthday surprise, she was so excited...
I took her to Build-A-Bear where she got to make her own teddy bear...

All the way to the car, she sang, "I love my purple teddy bear, and she is all mine!!"
Having her birthday Dinner with mommy...
Happy Birthday Natali. We celebrated by having some of her friends come over for a lunch play date. Then we finished the day off by watching her older siblings play in their first T-Ball game (pictures to come) and having dinner out with everyone.
The best Present this mommy got from the birthday girl.....FINALLY wanting to be a big girl and got Potty in the Potty.. we are day 4 into it and I am so proud of her making that decision for herself. It has made it easy on this mommy and she loves that she is a BIG GIRL!! :)

And I am super excited that next month I get to go to Twin Falls for the day and get Certified!! Not only that but my insturctor is going to be none other then Kass Martin! (She came and did one in Boise just a little bit a go and I couldn't do that one, but I did go to her Jam Class later that night and WOW!!) If you don't know w
ho she is, well let me tell you, she is one of "THE" zumba celebrity instructors that travels around the world teaching zumba. She was just recently on Live with Kelly too. ;)
I am so excited to get certified. Zumba has helped me through so much this past year and has helped me reach my weight loss goals I never thought I could reach.

Cinderella...

The high school just finished putting on the musical, Cinderella. They did an awesome job and I was able to take Neilsen and Traci to the play. One of the fun things the did with the play was had a fun "Pizza with the Princess" The kids got to go and have pizza with the cast of Cinderella and raffle off seats at the table and actually eat with them. I took the 3 older kids. Traci of course dressed up in her Cinderella dress and Natali just had to wear her Snow White dress. They had a blast!! They let all the little girls go and have the Prince try on the Glass Slipper, (Natali did not want to have anything to do with this! LOL
Then I put all their names in to try and win the raffle, and guess what....Natali won one and got to eat with the King and Queen. Traci wanted so badly to eat with Cinderella but didn't get to, but she did get her picture taken with her though.
What a fun little thing the kids got to enjoy. Here are some pictures from their fun time.

Much Needed up date!!

I seem to have been MIA from my blog. Sorry... things have been pretty busy for this mommy here!! But Let me give you an update about everyone:
Neilsen is enjoying Kindergarten. He is doing really well and LOVES to go to school!! His is also excited for T-ball to start in the Spring.
Traci has started Playschool (which is a little mini preschool that the high school students put on for on their classes! It is awesome and she loves it!) Traci decided that she wants to give T-ball a try with her brother this year and thanks to her Uncle Jon, she has her very own PINK BARBIE bat to have for it!! (Now to find a pink glove)
Natali is getting very anxious for her birthday to be here so she can tell everybody that she is 3 years old! She is very much in to dressing up (which surprises me) and she is a joy to watch everyday!
Then there is Jami! She is just growing up so fast on me. Chris and both look forward to her going into Nursery. ;) Jami has learning many, many new skills, (climbing, ect. ect.) and thanks to her sisters is learning lots of new words daily.

So that pretty much sums it up in a nutshell and catches us up. (these pictures I took on my little mini valentines day shoot I had with the kids)
