Guess who is the BIG 28????

I am finally going to sit down and actually post about.....ME!! I figure seeing I post about everyone else, it might be a change to do a little posting about what I am up to.
On Wednesday I turned the BIG 28! Now there really isn't anything special about turning 28, except my sisters keep reminding me that I am now that much closer to 40! (Who Cares about turning 30 right!) LOL!!!
My day was spent like any other day, except I woke up to my 5 year old cuddling into me and saying, "Happy Birthday Mom, I love you so much!" What a way to start your day right! The rest of my birthday was spent baking and frosting Christmas cookies with my kids, a Girls Night out for dinner, then some vegging out time with my handsome husband. Not too bad if I do say so my self! So here is to a great birthday! I look forward to what this new year has in store for me. :)

P.S. This is my birthday dress my hubby bought for me!! Just had to show it off because I like it so much!!

Pictures with Santa

This year at our Ward's Christmas Party, I was asked to take the pictures of each kid with Santa! I loved it!! Watching the kids get excited and even the few who didn't want to sit on Santa's lap was fun. I loved watching my kids get closer to the line and my little Natali when she got right up to the stage looked over and saw Santa for the first time started to jump up and down saying "I SEE SANTA! I SEE SANTA!!" This year, I had ZERO criers!! That's right, nobody cried when they sat on Santa's lap. (Last year Traci wouldn't even get close to touching him.) So here are the pictures from our Christmas party.

I am in TROUBLE!!

See this face! This is the face of an 11month, yes 11 month old little girl who is keeping me on all 10 toes, all day long!! Let me explain...you see my other 2 girls, never walked until their first birthday....Jami here, well she has been walking since about 9 1/2 months. NOW she is CLIMBING!!! Her newest venture is my kitchen table. Sunday she decided she wanted to sneak back into the kitchen, and climb up on to my table and eat her sister's dinners. I used this a photo op. for her lovely book I am working on.. I can't wait to add this page in there.

I tell my parents how crazy she is and they just laugh and shake their heads... my dad today when he was watching her, saw her in action. Talking her little play chair, moving it to my kitchen, CLIMBING up on to the back of the chair to try and get whatever she can on top of my counters. Yeah, I am soooooo in TROUBLE with this one. :)

Ready for Halloween!

This last weekend, Uncle Jon and Aunt Emi hosted a Halloween Party for the kids! The had a blast! From bobbing for apples, a cookie walk, cookie decorating, and a necklace making, they all enjoyed them selves.

Look what Traci did....

We finally cut Traci's hair! For the longest time, she would consider her hair being cut when Papa would trim her bangs. Recently she hated, meaning, cry scream and everything when mommy would need to brush her hair out. Her hair would tangle so easily. So I told her if we cut it, her hair wouldn't hurt when we brushed it. She has been afraid to cut her hair for 1, Papa joked and said she wouldn't be a princess anymore if she did cut it. (Thanks Papa) 2, Her favorite movie is Tangled, and her hair is just like Tangled and she thought if she cut it, it wouldn't grow back. But I finally got her to understand that it will grow back and so she said she wanted a change.
Here is the before...

Making the first Cut (we cut off 8 inches)

After!

Doesn't she look so adorable!!

Proudly showing off her new do!! LOVE you Traci Lue.

Guess who?

So my parents are spending spring break in St. George. And my dad, wanted an updated picture of all the grandkids before he left. I love it! We had to wait for Jami to finally wake up to get the picture taken, then once we thought all the kids were ready and would be good for the picture, we get them all settled into their spots....then we added Jami into the
picture. And can you guess who decided they didn't want their picture taken anymore.....?

It's offical....

OK Blogging world, I have finally finished it and am ready to share it with all of you. One of my goals I made at the beginning of the year was to get out there more with my Photography business. I have been holding back for quite some time. I have just been doing hit and miss with photo jobs and after everyone telling me that I REALLY need to take this to the next level, I said OK! So it took me 2 months longer then I wanted to but its finished and I am ready to start sharing and getting people booked for some pictures. So go on look, tell your friends and everyone you know. I am pretty inexpensive on my pricing, but I really don't think pictures should cost a person an arm and a leg. Here is my link to my photo blog.

Thank You for your support in my new adventure.

Picture of the Day

"Hello, My name is Traci Lue and I have attitude!"
Earlier today, Traci decided she didn't need to wear her pants anymore. Then she found my sunglasses and put them on and from across the room looked at me and said, "Mom, you need to take a picure of me!"
Nothing like your 3 year old telling you how it should be.

Family time at the Dentist...

Today we got to start our week off by a family trip to the Dentist for our 6 month cleanings. I was a little worried how each kid would act. Neilsen has been a little hesitant the last few times and Traci just kind of followed in her brothers foot steps. This was also going to be Natali's first offical checkup.

Well Neilsen was the first to go in and he did AMAZING!! He thought it was so cool that his teeth were nice and shiny, oh and he got his own tooth brush and a super cool toy. Then came Traci, she suprised me and did AMAZING as well. She was so cute sitting in the chair letting them check out her teeth and clean them with her favorite bubble gum flavor paste. I haven't broken the news to her yet that she has to go back to the denist for a small cavity that needs to be filled, so not looking forward to that appointment. Some how too, Traci walked away with getting 4 braclets out of the toy box. LOL!!! Then it was Natali's turn. She thought she was the coolest person because she got to sit in the big kid chair all by her self. They let the chair go up and down, which she thought was like the rocket ride at Chucky Cheese and didn't want to get off it at all. She also let the Dr. check out her teeth and he started to clean them, and in true Natali fashion, she started licking the toothpaste right off the brush and off his gloves. :) Oh Nat!

I came home so proud of my children for being such big kids at the Dentist. Lets just hope it stays this way.

My Valentines Sweeties

Happy Late Valentines!

Guess who is 3?

In January Traci Lue turned 3!!! She has waited all year for her birthday! And I am not kidding. This girl every time we would go to friends or cousins birthday party she would start to cry and want nothing to do with the party because it wasn't "her" party! I thought her birthday would never get here for her sakes. LOL She was so cute about her birthday this year. She has grow so
much in the past year I just couldn't believe it. Our family sure would be the same with out our beautiful Traci Lue. I am working on her 3year book right now and thought it would be fun to post a little flash back of some Traci Lue.

About the funniest thing happened when I took her to her well child check up. Traci is my little "girly girl" and everyday her dad calls her his princess too. She now has 2 princess outfits complete with dress, shoes and crowns! (She also reminds me she is missing a few princess outfits she REALLY REALLY WANTS!) Anyway, at her appoint
ment
Traci was asked a few questions by her doctor. Her doctor as her if she new her name, how old she was and if she was a boy or a girl. This was Traci's response to that, "I am a girl. I am 3 years old. and My name is Traci Lue Glascock and I am a Princess.
" Oh Traci!!

I love you my little mini me! I can't wait to see what this year has in store for you.

December in Review

Sorry I am now just getting to posting about December. It was quite a month. We enjoyed celebrating 5 birthdays in December. That's right 5! (My sis-in-law Emi, my nephew Donaven who turned the big 1, my two sisters JaNeil and JoAnna birthdays, and of course my 27th birthday!)

December was filled with lots of fun things. The first big snow fall happened which finally caused a snow day from school for Neilsen. He enjoyed
playing out s
ide in the snow as long as mom would let him.
Then there was Christmas. I LOVED Christmas this year.
Finally my kids (minus Jami and Natali) really got into Christmas and Santa! We had our countdown out and all our Christmas up before December hit! LOL!! Neilsen and Traci loved singing their favorite Christmas song everyday. They sang it even after Santa had already came to town. :) After spending Christmas early morning opening our presents here and seeing what Santa had brought them we lo
aded everyone in the car and drove to American Falls to spend Christmas day with Chris's family. I just loved how into Christmas my kids were and they were just so much fun to watch open their presents from everyone. Each of them got some awesome thin
gs. Traci's favorite gift by far was her Cinderella get up from her Grandma and Grandpa Glascock. They got her the dress, the purse, gloves, ring, necklace and "lips" too! The only thing they left out which she quickly reminded them that she doesn't have the Cinderella SHOES!!
(Good thing her birthday is in January!)
Neilsen had a truck/car Christmas. And he enjoys trapping himself up in his room way from his sisters to enjoy them. And Natali finally got her own babies just like her big sister. Santa even thought of her when he brought both girls a princess dress up trunk filled with shoes, jewelery and an dress up outfit. So now she gets to have fun all day long being just like her big sister butwith HER own stuff!
We had fun ending December right by bringing in the new Year at two family parties. We had a blast with Grandma and Grandpa's Pizza party. Then Daddy showed up from work early and instead of taking the kids home, we went out to my aunts house and let the kids celebrate a little bit more by playing with their cousins over there and just enjoyed a good time talking and playing games with some more family. We did make it home before midnight and Traci and Neilsen were awake still to watch the ball drop and have a New Years Toast with mom and dad!

So as you can see we had an AWESOME December. I am glad it is 2011! I can't wait to see what this new year brings. I know there are some changes in store for our family this year and I can't wait to see where it takes us!
