I have debated on what I wanted to say all weekend about my Uncle Neil, alot of my family members have posted little tid bits here and there on facebook and stuff but I just wanted to take a little minute and just dedicate this post to my Uncle Neil.
Thanksgiving seemed to be going like a pretty normal Thanksgiving at the Lang home. My dad and I worked on our pies the night before, like we always do and fixing up all the awesome food that we would be cooking up in the morning. We put the appetizer foods out on the table around 11am. and the wassel starts warming in the crock pot filling the house with its wonderful aroma. Because my dad had to go to work that night, our Thanksgiving dinner was eaten around 3pm. and we just vegged out the rest of the night. Seemed to be going like any normal night. Up until 9:30pm that is. My mom got a phone call from her sister that lives in Utah saying that my Uncle had passed out in his hotel room and they could revive him. They were taking him to the hospital in Sandy and she would call back with and date. My uncle was in Salt Lake at the time on business with 2 of his kids. Within 15 minutes of the phone call, the next one came letting us know that he was gone. You never can prepare yourself for those kinds of moments in life. It really makes you look back at your own life and just be thankful for the moments you have.
My uncle ended up having a massive heart attack and left this earth at the age of 45. He leaves behind a wife and 6 kids and 7 grand kids. It was only a few weeks ago that we had gotten together to bless two of the grand kids.
My uncle was a awesome man and so full of love for everyone and anyone that he came into contact with. I will miss seeing is big beaming smile when he walks in a room. Thank you Uncle Neil for all the wonderful memories and for being an example in my life. I know that we will be together again. I love you. and We will miss you.

My beautiful work...
So I just had to put these in a post.
Last weekend while I was in Malad/Pocatello, I took some family pictures for my sister and her husbands siblings families! Well needless to say while I was editing the pictures tonight I was just so proud of a couple of the ones I did so I have deemed the post worthy! This awesome picture is my beautiful sister and her hubby and the sweet baby bump is my nephew!
This one is my sister's niece Shayla! It was just too sweet not show off!
And this I just thought was fun! These awesome kiddos are mine and my niece and nephews!

My Pretty Purple Princess....
So I thought this deserved a post of it's own! I keep forgetting to post them so here it is! The last time I went into Costco my sister and I had to check out the cute holiday dresses they had start putting out. I was excited because I knew that Traci could actually/FINALLY wear one! They smallest size they make the dresses are 2T and I was just excited cause I knew Traci could fit into them. Anyway...We were looking at them and came across the all purple one! Traci's favorite color is...purple...and once she saw it she was like "oww purple!" So I just had to get it right!!
That sunday what dress did she want to wear....her pretty purple one! So I decked her out with a matching purple flower that went perfect! I also planned a head and put sponge rollers in her hair the night before so she had curly hear too!! She was just dang cute and she new it!!!
Happy Halloween
I thought that I should put up some cute pictures of my kiddos from Halloween. Neilsen was so excited to be Bumble Bee this year that he wanted to wear his costume everyday. I took the kids to our Trunk-r-Treat at the church and what was funny, Neilsen was waiting to go walk around and was just enjoying looking at all the different costumes. Well next thing we see was a little boy wearing a Mega Tron costume. When I told him to look at it, Neilsen took this defensive stances, turned and said, "MEGATRON! Where!!" It was too funny! I am sure that if that kid would have walked by us he would of tried to take him down!!
Traci of course enjoyed being dolled up as Dorthy! She also enjoyed the red lipstick I let her wear. And then I had my little Lion with me helping pass out Candy.
All in all Halloween was fun this year. Enjoy the cute photos of them too!

Thank You Swine FLU....
Yes it has happened! The Swine Flu or H1N1 has entered my house! Well it all started last monday when my husband got sick with the flu. So by Wednesday we took him in to see what he had, and then said he didn't have the flu just a viral infection, thanks to him, I got his wonderful cold, but come Saturday, poor little Natali...that is right, my little not quite 5 month old little girl came down with a high fever and just feeling so crappy. We ended up taking her to the ER by the end of the day and yes She has SWINE FLU!! Poor Nat!! The good part, she was a candidate for recieving the vaccine for it, the bad part, the vaccine doesn't make her feel better it just helps speeds the process up of having the flu by knocking off one day! WHOOPY!!! So not only does mommy not feel good but she is pretty much the only person that Natali will even go to when she is ready for nap or bed time. Oh the joys of being a mom....

Now this is FUNNY!!
So here is one of the funniest things that I have seen in a while...We were courious to see how much Natali had grown before we got the actual numbers from her doctors appointment. So one day I decided I wanted to compare my two girls together. Well this is the result I got..... Natali is the baby and she is 4 months, Traci is 19 months. That is right!!! my infant is almost as tall as my toddler!! We took Natali to the doctors today and her nickname rings true "CHUNKY MONKEY!" Natali weighed in at a whomping 19lbs and 27 inches!!! Boy she is sure eating well!! (all breast milk I promise!!!)
She is 4 months already...

I am going to be an AUNT!!
I finally get the chance to say that I am going to be an aunt!! Well technically speaking I already got to say that seeing my sister-in-law already has three kids but it is just different when it's my sister!!
So finally I am not the only "Lang" contributing to the grandkid pool here! Seeing that I have had 3 kids in the last 3 years it is about time that some one else pitches in here! LOL
Don't get me wrong, I have loved my kids being the only grandkids for my parents to spoil, but come I know how it was growing up with not a whole lot of cousins to play with on one of my parents sides of the family and I just know what it feels like to be the "OLDEST" or only one. So when my sister annoucned she is having a baby in December I was so excited for her to be a mommy, and for a new grandkid to come in the mix. I told her she needed to have a boy so that mom and dad could be even on the numbers seeing I have 1 boy and 2 girls. Guess what she is having....a BOY!! :)
WAY TO GO JaNeil and Travis!!!!

5 Years...and Eternity to Go!!
Yesterday Chris and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. It is crazy to think it has already been 5 years. Chris took the day off of work and I told him that I had the afternoon planned. We started our day out by attending a session at the temple. That was such an awesome way to start our day out together. The funniest part, we got there and got in the session at about he same time that we were sealed 5 years ago! Oh the memories! After that, we had to go back home and pick up our little side kick for the day. Seeing that I am still nursing and Natali refuses a bottle, she got to tag along with us. Which was fine cause she pretty much slept the whole time. I had planned that we would do 5 different things and all of them would have something to do with the number 5. Once we got to dinner I suprised Chris with my anniversary gift for him. I had made him a photo book that celebrated us and the last 5 years. We ended the night by coming back home, and eating nachos and watching the Mirror has 2 Faces, (both thing we ate and watched on our wedding night.) It was a perfect day. Here are just some blast from the bast wedding pictures I thought you all might enjoy seeing.

Traci and the shoes...
So for anyone who knows me, the last thing I would do is teach my daughter to be a girly girl. Well one of my dads friends from work , gave us a bunch of little girl stuff. Mainly abunch of older little girl clothes but in this batch was a pair of those dress up high hills. Once I saw them I knew Traci would love them, I didn't think she would be able to walk in them quite yet, but I reguardless she would love them. She is in this phase of putting all of our shoes on, for some reason she loves to try and wear her brothers sandals, she falls everytime she puts them on so in my mind I was thinking well she can barely walk in her brothers shoes let alone these little hills! Boy was I WRONG!!!!
The minute she put the shoes on she was just cruzing the living room like she was born to wear them!! As you will be able to see from the pictures, she had to get all dressed up to wear them, and didn't want to wear anything else. It was even bed time and she still couldn't give them up!! Oh and I better not leave out her purse either!
I LOVE YOU TRACI!!!

New Smile...
Well I seem to keep forgetting to post the fun pictures from our last trip to Malad. I promise to get them up by the end of the week.
But I did want to just say something that I am excited about that is happening. Well I am excited I am pretty sure Chris is getting scared. If you any of you know my husband, one of the things you might have taken notice to is that he never has an open teething showing smile. He also covers his mouth when he really starts to laughing. Well ever since I have meet my husband this is how he has always been. After we were married I asked him why he does it. Well he hates his teeth. Its not that they are bad, they just are crocked and stuff and well he just doesn't want people to see. I have told him for a while that I was going to put him in braces so he can feel comfortable with himself. Come to find out when he was younger they had started the process of fixing his teeth, and when it came down to getting the braces put on his parents backed out and said "Your teeth are fine, its not like you are having problems. So we are just going to leave them" Ya they pretty much just didn't want to fork out the money for it! That just doesn't sit well with me. Having gone through 41/2 years of having to wear braces, I just can't see why his parents just didn't do it.
Well I finally made Chris call and get an appointment scheduled for him to see an orthodontist. Its sad when the Dr. even said that his parents did the biggest disserves to him by not putting him in braces. So now we get to fix it and fork out the money. He is worth every penny of it. So I am excited that we are starting this process for him. He is a little scared seeing that he has to do an expander for 6 months first, which is REALLY going to suck, and then he will get the braces put on. But atleast he will be done with it all in about a year and half!! I looked at him and said, "Hey what a better anniversary gift then to say your wife is getting you a new smile!" (our 5 year is next thursday!!)
I will keep you up dated on how things go. Can't wait for the whining to begin! My husband I swear is the biggest panzy ever!!! He gets a cold and the world stops!! I can't wait to see what how he will be when his whole mouth is completly hurting!!!!

check this out...
I got the the liberty of doing a family photo shoot this weekend. It was so fun, and well it was for my Aunt Cori. Part of the pics, I told her to have my cousin bring his suit and we would do some mission pics. Well as I was editing the pics, I got to his one and just got creative! I think the picture turned out freaking sweet!
What I did for Father's day
So I know I am totally a week off but, oh well, I still think this derserves posting. I had this idea in my head for what I wanted to do for my husband for fathers day and well when I was taking the picture of the kids for it, the one shot I thought I wanted wasn't turning out, so I didn't a little different and well, I think it turned out way better. So here it is. ENJOY!
Crazy week...
So we went to Malad for Father's Day weekend and I swear once we got home, life has just seemed crazy! I will post later the coolest father's day gift I did for Chris. I think its worth showing so I promise I will get it up.
But I just had to put this down, to top our week off, we took the kids to Roaring Springs yesterday to let them blow off some mid afternoon energy. I never thought that I would be walking out of the park so much more greatful for my kids. Neilsen decided he wanted to go down the kiddy slides by himself, mr. Independent, well, Natali was still sleeping in the stroller so I was standing guard watching him walk up and keeping my eye on Chris and Traci waiting for him to go down the slide. I look up to find Neilsen for one second, and the next few seconds became the scariest seconds of my life. I look back to Chris in the water only to see Traci floating face down in the water! I have nevered screamed so loud and with that tone before in my life. Chris turned to his side and instantly saw what I was screaming for. Luckliy for us, he got her and right before she stopped breathing. The poor girl took in to much water, but luckliy she is alright. But what just ticks me off is the life guard just stood there the whole time and just watched! He didn't say anything at all! You can sure bet that I turned his name in!
I am so glad that Traci is alright, and she still, for some reason, went back and played in the water.
What a way to end a crazy week. I sure hope I don't have to feel like that again for a long time!

A trip down Memory Lane...
After a fun filled day of Chucky Cheese, snow cones and monster trucks...I can't believe that my little man is 3 years old. I swear he grew up over night. All weekend long he knew that we were celebrating his birthday. He kept his own count down and would always ask me to remind him of how many more days til he got to go to Chucky Cheese with Nanna and Pappa. He was so concerend about party hats that I took him shopping for them on Thursday just so that we would know that I hadn't forgotten. Who would think that my little 3 year old would be like that. It is just crazy to think that just 3 years ago we had the start of our little family. He came into this world and with just one tiny grip from his hand, it changed my world forever. Neilsen at his 1st birthday.

Nap time fun...
So the other day, Neilsen had just got done playing out back with his monster trucks. He came in and asked me if he could wash his trucks off. I told him to go grab some shorts to get wet in and I would turn the water on out front so he could was his trucks. Well we got all the way to getting his flip flops back on when Aunt Anna pulled out some chips and he had to take a break to eat some. He decided that he needed more chips so he grabbed his chips and sat next to Anna to eat his chips. JoAnna and I started talking to each other for maybe five minutes and I could hear his chewing getting slower, well by the time I had turned my head to check on him, he had fallen asleep the his hand in the chip container! I just had to get a picture just because it was so stinking cute!

Crazy Hair...
I thought this was worthy of posting. Traci just loves bath time, and one night when my dad was over helping me with the older kids getting them bathed and ready for bed, seeing that I can't do that for a while due to my c-section, he thought that he would have some fun with Traci in the tub. Just see for yourself! I think it really shows off how much hair Traci really has! :)
